Allergy Information

After 2 emergency room visits and my poor baby’s face swelling up so bad he could not even see, I took Eric into the Allergist to see what was going on. This is the lovely news we got.

Eric has sever allergic reactions to the following items:

PEANUTS

ALL TREE NUTS (Almonds, Brazil nut, Cashews, Hazelnuts, Hickory nuts, Macadamia nuts, Pecans, Pine nuts, Pistachio, Walnut)

ALL SEEDS (Sunflower, Sesame)

SOY (ALL SOY Proteins, Soy Sauce, Soy milk, Tamari, Tempeh, Tofu, Textured Vegetable Protein)

EGGS

It’s amazing how many things have SOY, EGGS or PEANUTS in them, and not to mention every possible packaged item that says processed in or around machines that also process nuts.

We are working on getting him a medical alert bracelet and have to carry an Epi Pen around with us wherever we go.

Santa Claus

Eric & Adalyn got to see Santa at our Church Christmas Breakfast last week. They did much better this year, no screaming or crying.

State Fair

Eric & Adalyn had a great time at the State Fair. They got to visit the farm and milk the cow, do some gardening, feed the sheep and even collect eggs. After they finished working on the farm they each got a dollar to buy a snack at the little grocery store.

2 Years Old

Eric & Adalyn had a great birthday. They had a party at Grandma & Grandpa Robinson's house one night and another party at Grandma Manning's the following night. They got so many wonderful gifts and Aunt Cheri made them the coolest Elmo cake ever!! Thanks everyone!

Park

Eric & Adalyn's first time going to the park by Grandma & Grandpa Robinson's house. They must have gone down the slide a million times.

Birds

We took Eric & Adalyn to the aviary on Memorial Day. They had so much fun. Adalyn started chasing after the peacock so she had to get back into her stroller.

Play House

Grandma Manning gave Eric & Adalyn this play house for their birthday. They love playing in it and want to be outside every minute of the day. When they can't go outside they point out the window and say 'house, house'.

April

Wow, the month of April was so busy for our family. So busy that it is now the end of May and I am just getting to posting about everything that happened in April. We had a very non-stop, fun, exciting, emotional (happy & sad) whirlwind of a month. So here goes... with lots of pictures.

Grandpa Robinson

At the end of March my Grandpa got sick and went into the hospital. Things were not looking good, so as many of the family members that could, headed up to Idaho to see him. I took Eric & Adalyn up to give loves and say goodbye. This was such a hard thing to do, but I was blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with my Grandpa the evening before he passed away. He was so happy to be able to see the twins.

While we were at the hospital, they had a big Easter egg hunt for all the kids in the town. Eric & Adalyn had so much fun and got way too much candy.
